Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Who we are

Bee Foundry Ltd (“we”, “us”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales, is the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@getbeefoundry.com.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address and display name when you sign up.

Business knowledge. Everything you teach your Brand Brain: onboarding answers, documents you upload, websites you point us at, and the edits and approvals you make to generated content.

Usage records. Progression events (Knowledge Points), learning signals and publish records, so the product can show you evidence of what it has learned.

Billing records. Subscription status, plan, purchase history and Honey balance. We never see or store your card details — payment information is entered directly into Stripe’s secure checkout and is handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

How we use it

We use your information to operate Bee Foundry: authenticating you, building and maintaining your Brand Brain, generating and publishing content you approve, processing your subscription and purchases, and improving the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business knowledge to train models for other customers.

Who processes it

We use a small number of processors to run the service:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and file storage;
  • Stripe — payments, subscriptions, invoicing and billing portal;
  • OpenAI — language and embedding models that power your Brand Brain;
  • Hetzner — hosting;
  • Postiz — social publishing, self-hosted on our servers.

Each processes data only to provide its part of the service. Where processing involves transfer outside the UK/EEA it is covered by the provider’s standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Account and Brand Brain data is kept while your account is active. Learning signals and progression events are kept as an immutable evidence log so your Brand Brain’s history stays auditable. Billing and transaction records are retained for the periods required by UK tax and accounting law. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time — see our Support page.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. Email privacy@getbeefoundry.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Changes

This policy may change as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged in the app. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
